How I Help Our Clients

As Practice Manager at Riemer Hess, I help ensure that our clients receive the consistent, high-quality support they deserve throughout their disability claims. I oversee many of the operational systems and processes that allow our attorneys and paralegals to effectively advocate for clients, while also helping guide strategic initiatives that improve the client experience.

One of my primary responsibilities is managing our long term disability benefit protection program, which helps protect the ongoing benefits of hundreds of clients each year. I work closely with our team to ensure renewal engagements are handled efficiently, deadlines are met, and clients receive proactive guidance as their claims evolve. I also help develop and implement firm procedures, training programs, and operational improvements designed to promote consistency, efficiency, and exceptional client service across every stage of representation.

In addition, I play an active role in safeguarding client information, supporting firm technology initiatives, and helping our team adapt to new processes and industry developments. My goal is to ensure that our clients can focus on their health and recovery while feeling confident that they have a dedicated team supporting them behind the scenes

What I Find Most Rewarding About My Work

Having been with Riemer Hess since 2019, the most rewarding part of my job is knowing that our work helps relieve some of the stress and uncertainty that often comes with a disability claim. Many of our clients are facing difficult medical conditions while trying to navigate a complex insurance process. I take pride in helping create systems and support structures that allow our team to provide compassionate, responsive service when clients need it most.

I am also proud to work alongside a talented group of professionals who are deeply committed to helping people protect the benefits they depend on. Seeing the positive impact our team has on clients and their families is what motivates me every day.

My Background

I have more than a decade of experience in administrative, operational, and office management roles, with a particular focus on the legal field. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for building efficient processes, supporting high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional client service.

 At Riemer Hess, I help oversee many of the operational functions that keep our firm running efficiently and allow our attorneys and paralegals to focus on serving clients. My responsibilities include developing and implementing firm procedures, billing and retainer management, and helping maintain the systems that ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience.

 I also work closely with our legal team on a variety of client-support and claim-management initiatives. This includes coordinating retainer renewals and client transitions when claims enter new stages, such as appeals, litigation, or ongoing benefit protection. Because many of our clients work with the firm over a number of years, I help ensure that these transitions are handled smoothly and that clients understand their options as their needs evolve. As our firm continues to grow, I take pride in developing processes that improve efficiency, support our team, and help deliver a consistently high level of service. 

Compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail guide everything I do, and I strive to ensure that every client interaction reflects the high standards our firm is known for.

What I Enjoy Doing For Fun

I’m an avid fiction writer and published novelist, and in my spare time I help run a local writing group in my community. I also enjoy travel, musical theater, going on food adventures, and cuddling with my cat!
