Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly referred to as 鈥淎LS鈥 or 鈥淟ou Gehrig鈥檚 disease,鈥 is a rare and devastating neurodegenerative disorder that attacks nerve cells in the spinal cord and lower brain.
